Daniel Heyduk, Ph.D., is an anthropologist and historian who lives in Meredith, in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.  He was a college professor of anthropology and prehistory, lived with Nahuatl people in Mexico and Quechua people in Bolivia, did archaeology in Ecuador and ran scholarship and training programs worldwide.  His history column, "Passing Time", appeared in the Meredith News and his new book is Stories in the History of New Hanpshire's Lakes Region and Pemigewasset Valley
